ABANDONED PRIVATE PROPERTY

"A vehicle is deemed to be abandoned if it is left on private property without the consent of the owner or other person in control or possession of the property or for a period in excess of that which consent was given, except in the case of emergency" (N.J.S.A. 39:4-56.6)

This process pertains to any motor vehicle that has been left abandoned:

    • Towed from Private Property and then abandoned at your tow yard.

    • Vehicles left abandoned at your repair facility without giving an estimate, diagnostic, or performing any repairs

    • Tenant abandoned vehicles at apartment complex

    • For any person or business who has a vehicle that has been left on their property

*Note: If no one attends the auction or an unacceptable bid is made, the property owner may title the vehicle directly. The property owner is required to pay a $60 titling fee to the state. Tax is not required. If a sale to a buyer is made, tax is required, unless purchaser is a dealer. These fees are not included in the original expenses estimate*

**We offer multi-vehicle discounts. To receive this discount, all vehicles are required to be ordered at the same time**
